Well, it’s been more than a month and a half since I began using a Windows Phone as my primary phone and it seems like a good time to cover Bing!

In this exciting conclusion (if you can call it that) to my previous blog post, I time the run from Superstore on Grandview in Vancouver to my home using our new iPhone App - FusionWare Stopwatch Connected, and compare the results.

My wife and I have always debated whether Rupert Street or Boundary Road was the faster way home when we shopped at the Great Canadian Superstore on Grandview Highway in Vancouver.  Now we can settle it once and for all using my new iPhone app: FusionWare Stopwatch Connected! 

A look at what inspired my first iPhone app and how I used it the first few days.

I had heard that it takes forever to get an iPhone App accepted, but the reality turned out to be different!

FusionWare has just completed certification of four of our products for Red Hat Enterprise Level 6 (RHEL6) to retain our Ready for Linux (ChipHopper) technical validation.

My colleague has submitted a few apps to the Microsoft Windows 7 Marketplace and achieved very timely turn-around. Now I've submitted an app to Apple.  Let's see how long this takes...

Yesterday I received notification that my third Windows Phone App passed certification and was published to the Windows Phone Marketplace.  That’s just three days after I Submitted the app. 

So, I wanted to do an iPhone version of the app my colleague wrote as a Windows Phone Mango app.  Seems there were a few hurdles that I had to overcome on the way there...

My partner Mark has been blogging about his Windows phone and the new apps he has been writing, and it finally clicked for me why this is making my iPhone feel so inadequate... It's about Social Media!
